Questions

Before you book

What happens during the free consultation?

It’s a relaxed 15-minute phone conversation where we learn what’s bringing you to therapy, share how we work, and answer your questions. There’s no pressure or commitment; it’s a chance to see if we’re a good fit for each other.

Do you accept my insurance?

Lola & Me Therapy is a private-pay, out-of-network practice and does not bill insurance directly. We can verify your out-of-network benefits and help estimate your possible reimbursement. Medicaid cannot be used for any services at Lola & Me Therapy. We can provide a superbill, or Mentaya can submit claims on your behalf for a 5% fee per submitted session.

How does out-of-network reimbursement work?

We do not bill insurance directly, but we are happy to verify your out-of-network benefits and help you understand what your estimated session cost may be after reimbursement. Many clients receive full or partial reimbursement through one of these options:

Superbill: After each session, we can provide an itemized receipt with the information your insurance company needs to process an out-of-network claim. You submit the superbill directly, and your insurance company reimburses you according to your plan’s out-of-network benefits.

Mentaya: Mentaya can submit claims directly to your insurance company on your behalf and charges a 5% fee per submitted session.

Your reimbursement depends on your individual plan. We are happy to help you explore your options and choose the approach that works best for you.

Can I do sessions online?

Yes. We offer secure telehealth sessions through SimplePractice to clients anywhere in Colorado, as well as in-person sessions at 2727 Bryant St, Suite 610, in Denver’s Highlands neighborhood.
