What to Expect

A collaborative process, guided by a skilled therapist

Couples therapy is a collaborative process where partners work together, guided by a therapist, toward their relationship goals. Some couples arrive with clear objectives, while others simply know they want a stronger relationship and are not sure where to begin.

We create an authentic, nonjudgmental, brave, and safe space for open expression while working with you on communication, trust, and emotional connection. The process is tailored to your relationship: we meet you where you are and help each of you show up with greater intention—for yourself and for each other.

Our Approach

PACT-trained, attachment-focused couples work

Hannah Snider, LCSW, PMH-C, our founder and lead therapist, is a PACT-trained couples therapist. PACT—the Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy—is a modality where couples learn to manage conflict through the lens of attachment: how each of you is wired for closeness, and what happens in your body when tension rises. Hannah also brings training in the Gottman Method to her work with couples.

Tori Brown, MA, LPCC offers attachment-focused relationship work as well, including intimacy and sexual-health concerns and LGBTQIA+-affirming care. If you would rather cover more ground in less time, ask us about a couples therapy intensive—an extended-session format designed around your relationship.

Where will we meet? How does telehealth work?

Sessions may be available in person at our Denver Highlands office at 2727 Bryant St, Suite 610, or online anywhere in Colorado. Online sessions use SimplePractice: we send a secure link to your phone or email, and you join from a private space.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not bill insurance directly. We can provide superbills for possible out-of-network reimbursement, and Mentaya can submit claims on your behalf for a 5% fee per submitted session. We also accept HSA payments. Your plan determines eligibility and reimbursement.

How long are couples sessions?

We offer 50-minute sessions with an optional 30-minute add-on for an additional fee. Couples often begin with extended 90- or 120-minute sessions, and your therapist can recommend a length during consultation. Couples intensives provide another extended-session format.

How do I set up a consultation?
